For Families began in 1998. The For Families team offers daytime and evening support groups, counselling, health and wellbeing days, a brief residential programme (the Family Programme) for families, relatives, partners and friends, and the M-PACT Programme (Moving Parents And Children Together) for children affected by parental substance misuse.
For Families is working to roll out M-PACT (Moving Parents And Children Together) nationally by training practitioners in the intervention across the UK.
For Families also runs accredited and bespoke training courses for professionals wanting to increase/enhance their understanding of the impact on families of substance misuse.
